Where the real difference is
Both bodies offer training providers a CPD accreditation mark and both maintain a public register of accredited activities. The CPD Group has clearly invested in being a content hub — podcasts, webinars, an advisory panel, edutorials — alongside its core accreditation service. If breadth of community and resources matters to you, that's a genuine point in their favour.
Where the two differ most concretely, based on what's published, is again price transparency and speed. The CPD Group's course accreditation page leads straight to "Get a Tailored Quote" rather than a number, and its FAQ states reviews begin within 2 to 3 weeks — not that a decision is reached by then, only that review starts.
