What we accredit

What can you get CPD accredited?

CPD accreditation covers a wide range of learning. If your activity has clear learning outcomes and a way to evidence them, AssuredCPD can almost certainly accredit it — from a single webinar to a full programme. Here are the most common formats we assess.

Training courses

The most familiar form of CPD: structured courses, from a half-day to several weeks, focused on a subject or a defined set of skills. We accredit the design, the learning outcomes, and the way completion is assessed.

Workshops

Hands-on, practical sessions where learners do as much as they listen. We look at how the activities build real capability and how outcomes are evidenced.

Seminars

Shorter, focused sessions — often a few hours — that go deep on a single topic, usually with discussion. Accreditation confirms the learning is substantive and well-structured.

Webinars

Live or recorded online sessions delivered to a remote audience. We assess the learning design and the check on understanding, not just attendance.

Conferences & events

Multi-session events, keynotes, and breakout programmes. We can accredit the event as a whole or individual sessions, with CPD hours allocated to what learners actually complete.

Online & e-learning

Self-paced digital courses with video, reading, and interactive elements. We review content quality, the assessment method, and the CPD-hour justification.

In-house & bespoke training

Internal or client-commissioned programmes built for a specific organisation. Accreditation gives your bespoke training the same independent quality mark as your public courses.

Microlearning & digital resources

Short modules, learning bites, and structured digital resources. If there is a clear learning outcome and a way to evidence it, it can be accredited — with proportionate CPD hours.

Coaching & mentoring programmes

Structured developmental programmes with defined objectives and review points. We assess the framework, the outcomes, and how progress is captured.

Don't see your format? If it teaches something and learning can be evidenced, it's very likely accreditable. Submit it and a named assessor will tell you within five working days — or just ask us first.

The same standard, whatever the format

Assessed against one published framework.

However your learning is delivered, it's judged against the same six domains — learning design, outcomes, delivery, assessment, CPD-hour justification, and currency. No hidden criteria; the bar is the same for a workshop and an online course.
